SWIZZ BEATZ TALKS NEW ALBUMS FROM JAY-Z, DMX

MTV News reports Swizz Beatz is hard at work on new material for Jay-Z and DMX. The mega producer told MTV that he’s “great friends” with Hova and plans to lay down some tracks for the highly anticipated Blueprint 3. As far as DMX’s upcoming project, Swizzy explains the troubled rapper is on his “A-game” and is “gonna come back so crazy.
50 CENT’S 50TH LAW BOOK GETS LAUNCH DATE

Billboard.com has learned 50 Cent’s new co-written book, The 50th Law, has received a release date. The business guide will teach you “how the power game of success can be played to your advantage.” The rapper teamed up with Robert Greene to help show the world that you can make something from nothing. The 50th Law hits book shelves in September.

Since giving birth to twins Emme and Max back in February, Jennifer Lopez has been trying to handle the delicate balance of motherhood and show business. Her latest film, The Back-Up Plan, due out next January, is her first project since becoming a mother. According to Extra, Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are definitely thinking about adding to their family. She told the show she “would love to have more kids” but doesn’t know “if that’s in the cards.” Lopez also admitted that although she loved being a stay-at-home mom at first, she was ready to return to work.
SOULJA BOY TO COLLAB WITH JAY-Z?

Soulja Boy is not only focusing on touring with Lil Wayne, Drake and Young Jeezy for America’s Most Wanted Music Festival, the rapper is also working on a new album. Soulja told us that Jay-Z will be featured on his upcoming record, The DeAndre Way, which will definitely be an eye-opening experience in itself.
The DeAndre Way is the rapper’s third studio album which is set to be released on August 25th. You can download the lead single, “Pow,” via iTunes now.
THE GAME UNDER INVESTIGATION

BallerStatus.com reports The Game is currently being investigated by U-K police in connection to an altercation with a fan. While performing at Liverpool’s O2 Academy for his Lamborghini Tour, a member in Game’s entourage reportedly assaulted a fan that jumped on stage, which resulted in lacerations to the victim’s face and a broken cheek bone. We will keep you posted if charges are filed.
Wisin & Yandel donate $25,000 to building homes

Fresh off the success of their latest album, Grammy-winning reggaeton stars Wisin & Yandel are donating $25,000 to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.
El duo de la historia also announced Wednesday they will donate $1 to the organization for every ticket sold for their U.S. tour this fall. Their show opened in Miami on Sept. 17.
MARC ANTHONY GETS INTO FOOTBALL

Marc Anthony has teamed up to become a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins. Anthony is now in business with Gloria Estefan and her husband, producer Emilio Estefan, who also bought a small stake in the club last month. New Dolphins owner Stephen Ross also began a partnership in May with Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville enterprise, which includes Land Shark Lager. Buffett has yet to accept Ross’ invitation to become a minority owner, but the Dolphins’ stadium has been renamed Land Shark Stadium for this season. Buffett has also written a song for the team. Anthony will perform the national anthem on ESPN’s Monday Night Football on October 12th when the Dolphins face the New York Jets as part of the NFL’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

After only six months of being signed to Radio Killa Records, Christina Milian confirmed that she is engaged to her music producer boyfriend The Dream. The 27-year-old singer told Us Weekly, that a wedding date is not yet set, but that she knows it won’t be too big of an affair. So I guess we have to start looking for another favorite Mira Mira girl.
