Fabolous is on pace to land his first number one album on The Billboard 200. Fab is reportedly projected to move nearly 100-thousand units of Loso’s Way. We spoke to the rapper about the concept of the LP.
“I took the movie and my title of my album from the movie Carlito’s Way and I saw in Carlito’s Way he had came out of jail and he always wanted to do something better and bigger and more and not just go back into same cycle of going back to jail or going back to selling drugs and that’s the same approach I take to hip hop as well, you know what I’m saying, at this point now it’s a career for me and I don’t want to back peddle, I don’t’ want to end up in my hood telling stories about P. Diddy parties I went to.”
We won’t know if Fab is number one until next Wednesday when the official numbers are is released, however, be sure to cop Loso’s Way today.
