According to Rap-Up.com, Ludacris is scheduled to join the Black Eyed Peas’ upcoming U-S tour. The E.N.D. tour kicks off February 4th in Atlanta and wraps April 10th in Tacoma, Washington. JA RULE’S 2007 GUN CASE STILL PENDING

Ja Rule is still looking to fight the charges stemming from his 2007 gun case. According to The New York Post, the rapper’s defense lawyer told the judge that the officers who found an unlicensed gun in Rule’s Maybach had no reason to search the car. The motion to drop the charges was denied by a Manhattan judge on Thursday morning. Rule currently faces up to three and a half years in prison if found guilty. He will remain out on bail and is due back in court on March 3rd.

JAY-Z AND BEYONCE EARN $122 MILLION

For the second consecutive year, Beyonce and Jay-Z have topped Forbes’ Top Earning Couples list. Unlike last year, the “Single Ladies” singer earned most of the money with an outstanding 87-million dollars earned between June 2008 and June 2009 while her “Empire State Of Mind” singer-husband raked in 35-million bucks. LLOYD BANKS ARRESTED IN CANADA

Lloyd Banks was arrested on assault and robbery charges over the weekend in Canada. The G-Unit member and his crew confronted a club promoter over payment for his performance and appearance at Club MV. Their argument reportedly resulted in Banks and his entourage – consisting of Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee and Tyrell Cooper – allegedly assaulting and robbing the manager while holding him against his will. All four men were arrested on forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robberycharges

AVATAR Rings Up Another $48.5 Million

Director James Cameron’s latest film, Avatar, topped the box office for the fourth time this past weekend and it has already become the second-most successful film ever worldwide.  Part of the reason people go out to see the movie, which takes place on a fictional moon called Pandora, is because the audience gets immersed in the Pandora’s environment.  Zoe Saldana plays “Neytiri” (Pron: NEIGH-tier-e), one of Pandora’s inhabitants, a member of a species known as the Navi.  She explained her goal when making the flick.
